America was founded as a Christian nation! Read the Founders!

What You Say

The Constitution's only religious references are exclusionary — no religious test for office, no established church. Treaty of Tripoli (1797) explicitly states the U.S. government is 'not in any sense founded on the Christian religion.' Jefferson's 'wall of separation' letter and Madison's Memorial and Remonstrance argue against taxpayer-funded religion. Many Founders were Deists, not evangelicals. Conflating 1950s addition of 'under God' to the pledge with 1776 intent is historical fiction.

The Stab

The First Amendment protects us from your church too.
