Noncitizen voting in federal elections is already a felony with severe penalties. Studies and investigations repeatedly find negligible noncitizen voting — often single digits per state. The Heritage Foundation's own database of voter fraud cases shows vanishingly few involving noncitizens. This myth exists to justify voter suppression, not to solve a real problem.
